Linda L. Waterman, 56, of North Utica passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center with her loving family by her side. Linda was born in Holland Patent on October 1, 1952 a daughter of the late Earl and Grace (Gage) Geer. In South Trenton on March 20, 1976 Linda was united in marriage to James F. Waterman a loving union of 33 years, in which they were blessed with three children whom she greatly adored. Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was always involved with her children's lives. She could always be found at every dance competition, baseball game, Scout meeting, and school function. Later in life she dedicated herself to taking care of her two precious grandchildren. For over 20 years Linda was employed with A.C.S in Marcy. She enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places with her husband. Most of all, she enjoyed carrying on family traditions and making everyone feel loved and special. Linda is survived by her beloved husband, James, her three cherished children; Jaime Waterman-Pinto and her husband David Pinto, Clifton Park, NY, Jeramy Waterman and his wife Kim , New Hartford, and Jeffrey Waterman, Utica, two adored grandchildren; Neal Waterman and Ashley Waterman, both of New Hartford, three brothers and two sisters-in-law; Richard Geer, VA, Dennis and Gail Geer, Westmoreland, and David and Colleen Geer, Holland Patent, brother-in law and sister-in law Joseph and Clara Lacomb, Utica, many nieces and nephews and a special friend; Kathy Lansdowne, Rome. Mrs. Waterman's funeral service will be held on Saturday April 18, 2009 at 10:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica. Burial will be in the Holland Patent Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4-8. Those so wishing may make donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Linda's memory.
