Mrs. Anita M. O'Lite, 66 of Whitesboro joined the Lord in Heaven on Wednesday February 11, 2009. Anita was born in Utica on April 11, 1942 the daughter of John A. and Mary V. (Majka) Goracy. She was raised locally and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. On March 28, 1965 Anita married Frank O'Lite. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, watching movies and was a big NY Yankee's fan. Anita centered her life around her beloved family who were the true joy in her life. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church, Utica. Mrs. O'Lite is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Jack Valente of Long Island and Debbie and Todd Jordan of Whitesboro; son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol O'Lite of Aurora, CO; six cherished grandchildren, Michael Cabral, Anthony Valente, Brittany O'Lite, Christopher O'Lite, Justin O'Lite and Chelsea O'Lite; two sisters, Jean Goracy of Whitesboro and Mary Ann Malachowski of Yorkville; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Helen Goracy of Clinton; uncle and aunt, Albert and Eleanor Majka of New Hartford and her best friend, Linda Behm of Utica. Mrs. O'Lite's memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 28, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Lincoln Ave, Utica. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park, Kirkland. Those so wishing may consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl.
