Clarence E. Berg, 88, of Utica passed away on Monday November 10, 2008 at the St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Clarence was born in Utica on July 31, 1920 son of the late Clarence H. and Jane (Howarth) Berg. He was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. Clarence served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. At Calvary Episcopal Church, Utica in 1943 he married Mary Ann Setzer. For many years until his retirement Clarence was employed with International Harvester Co. in Utica. He was a member of the Utica Maennerchor. Clarence is survived by his wife Mary Ann, two sons and daughters-in-law; Kurt R. Berg and Joan Supiro, Syracuse and Paul A. and Wavalene M. Berg, Baldwinsville, three grandchildren; Morgan Supiro-Berg, Syracuse, Armand R. Berg, Baldwinsville and Paul J. Berg, New York Mills, and a sister; Dorothy L. Walker, WA. Private funeral services for Mr. Berg will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintz Funeral Service Inc.
