Joseph A. Cote, 85, of Clinton passed away at home on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Joseph was born in Albany, NY on August 7, 1923 the son of Alcide and Aileen (Marc Aurele) Cote. In Olmstedville, NY on November 26, 1946 Joseph married Audrey Fagan. For many years he owned and operated Joe Cote's Copy Center in Utica. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Clinton and the Clinton Lion's Club. Joe enjoyed and spent many hours making picture frames and restoring old ones. Joseph is survived by his wife, Audrey, two brothers and a sister-in-law; John Paul Cote, NJ and Andre and Marilyn Cote, CA, two sisters-in-law; Polly Fagan, Blue Mountain Lake, NY and Nancy Roblee, Indian Lake, NY and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by 2 sisters and a brother. Mr. Cote's funeral will be held on Saturday October 25, 2008 at 9:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 E. Park Row, Clinton and at 10:00 from St. Mary's Church, Clinton. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4-6. Those so wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Joseph's memory.
