Charles Sikora, 63, of Utica passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 21, 2008 at home. Charlie was born in Utica on September 28, 1945 the son of the late Frank and Genevieve (Parzych) Sikora. He received his education in the Utica Schools and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. For many years Charlie was employed at the Marcy Psychiatric Center and currently was operating the Tackle Mart Fishing Store in Utica. He was of the catholic faith. Charlie was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper his whole life. Charlie is survived by an aunt; Patricia Parzych, Utica and many cousins and great cousins. Charlie was predeceased by his brother Francis Sikora in 1997. Mr. Sikora's funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 10:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. The burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 5-7.
