June P. Riley, 91, of Utica passed away at her home on Thursday October 2, 2008. June was born in Utica on August 1, 1917 the daughter of Edward J. and Marcella (Phillips) Riley. She was raised locally and was a graduate of Utica Catholic Academy. For 31 years, she was employed in the Civilian Personnel Office at Griffiss Air Force Base, retiring in 1973. June was a parishioner of St. Peter's Church, N. Utica and the Catholic Women's Club. Miss Riley is survived by several cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Riley and Bertha Riley and one brother, Paul Riley. Miss Riley's funeral will be held on Monday October 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Utica. In keeping with June's wishes there are no calling hours.
