Mr. William J. LaSalle, 61 of Whitesboro passed away on Thursday September 25, 2008 at the Veterans Hospital in Syracuse with his loving family by his side. William was born in Utica on September 8, 1947 the son of Thomas and Stella (Sokolowski) LaSalle and was a graduate of UFA. He honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. William was employed with Indium Corp., attended St. Joseph St. Patrick Church in Utica and was a football enthusiast and an avid NY Giants Fan. Mr. LaSalle is survived by his loving companion, Deborah Zehr of Whitesboro; step-son, Robert Zehr of Whitesboro; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Thomas Jr. and Betsy LaSalle, Whitesboro, Tony and Diane LaSalle, Albany, GA, Paul LaSalle, NY Mills and Christopher LaSalle, Johnstown, NY and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Stella and a sister, Marian Duesler. Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. LaSalle's committal service, with military honors, on Tuesday September 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Cemetery on Wood Rd., Whitesboro. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., Utica.
