Mrs. Mary E. Reilly, 88 of Easton PA, formerly of Whitesboro passed away on Saturday August 23, 2008 at Old Orchard Healthcare Center in Easton, PA. Mary was born in Utica on January 7, 1920 the daughter of Harvey and Marguerite (Higgs) Kessler and was a graduate of Whitesboro high school. On December 10, 1942 Mary was united in marriage to Thomas Reilly at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Whitesboro. She was employed as Whitestown, Town Clerk and later as the Village of Whitesboro Treasurer until her retirement. Mary was a parishioner of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Whitesboro and the Women's Club at the Church. Mary lovingly and tirelessly devoted herself to her family who were the joy of her life. Mrs. Reilly is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and Robert Sunderlin of Easton, PA; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Janice Reilly of Lockhart, TX; son-in-law, Dennis Costello of Utica; one sister, Eileen Madore of Whitesboro; 7 cherished grandchildren, Kelly Burke and her husband Tim, of Syracuse, Colleen Cahill of Syracuse, Erin Costello of Utica, Jennifer Reilly of Easton, PA, Scott Simpson of Jacksonville, FL, Ciani Sunderlin of Easton, PA and Liana Sunderlin of Easton, PA; numerous great grandchildren, two nieces and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas, Daughter Marguerite Costello and grandson, Drew Simpson. Mrs. Reilly's funeral will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Whitesboro where her mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours for family and friends are Wednesday morning 8:00-9:30 at the Heintz Funeral Home 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica.
