Arabell H. LaSalle, 91, of Utica passed away Monday August 11, 2008. Arabell was born on September 23, 1916 a daughter of Frederick and Lucy (Fuller) Hardell. At Historic Old St. John's Church, Utica on March 23, 1936 she was united in marriage to Louis J. LaSalle a blessed union of 36 years until his passing away on February 4, 1972. For 35 years until her retirement Arabell was employed with the Bendix Corporation. She was a member of the American Legion Post #1113, Whitesboro. Arabell is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; Patricia and Salvatore Torchia, Utica, a son and daughter-in-law; Alfred and Joan LaSalle, Utica, in-laws; John and Margaret LaSalle, Clinton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Arabell was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law; Ronald LaSalle in 1994 and Gloria LaSalle in 1984. A funeral service for Mrs. LaSalle will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 2:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. In keeping with Mrs. LaSalle's wishes there are no calling hours. The family would like to thank the staff on 3-C of St. Elizabeth's Medical Center for all the loving care and compassion they gave to Arabell.
