It's hard to imagine growing up on Glendale Place without Walt Hamlin living there (and to this day I still want to call him "Mr. Hamlin.") He was a cool, interesting, and - to this young neighborhood kid, anyway - slightly intimidating man. He leaves behind a truly fine family, many friends... and several warehouses of memories. Safe passage, Mr. Hamlin. And know that our thoughts are with your family.
