Wallace "Reed" Neary Obituary
Wallace (Reed) Neary, 64, of Utica passed away Friday June 15, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital. Wallace was born in Utica on November 11, 1942 the son of John and Ruth (Reed) Neary. Wallace served in the U. S. Army from 1961-1964. In Utica on February 11, 1965 he married Judith Morrison. For 30 years until his retirement in 1996 He was employed with the Chicago Pneumatic Co. Wallace attended Historic Old St. John's Church, Utica. Wallace is survived by his wife, Judy, two daughters and sons-in-law; Dawn and David Chaisson, Utica, and Jill and Daniel Brown, Jr., Utica, three sons and a daughter-in-law; Scott Neary, Utica, Reed Neary and companion, Andrea Back, New Hartford, and Shawn and Jessica Neary, Utica, six beloved grandchildren who Wallace had nicknames for; Joshua (Buddy), Kayla (Eden), Averie (Pearl), Kirstin (Rufus), Isaiah (Melon) and Brandon (Toad), special friends; Sue Dellerba and family and several nieces and nephews. Wallace was predeceased by a sister; Nancy Bolton and a brother; John Neary. Mr. Neary's funeral will be held on Tuesday June 19, 2007 at 8:45 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 9:30 from Historic Old St. John's Church, Utica. Burial will be in Mt. OLivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 5-8. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kachare, Dr. Wassel, the Dialysis Unit and 3rd floor west of St. Luke's Hospital for care and compassion shown to Wallace.
