On behalf of the entire USS Bennington Association, please accept our condolences on the loss of your loved one and our shipmate. As Chief Oderkirk stands "The Eternal Watch" - please know that as long as his memory remains in just one of us, he'll be remembered always. In August of this year, at our annual wreath laying event in Bennington, VT. (to remember those whom have gone before us) - Robert's name will be read and the ship's bell will toll in his memory.
