Philomena H. Foley, 72, of Schuyler passed away on Saturday July 5, 2008 in St. Luke's Hospital. Philomena was born in Albany, NY on October 10, 1935 a daughter of Walter F. and Phyllis B. (Donato) Howard. In 1955 Philomena married Robert Leaderach a blessed union of 23 years until his passing away in 1978. In 1982 she married Harold Foley. From 1969 to 1974 Philomena owned and operated the Riverview House of Ceramics in Marcy and in 1974 she started and ran the b.e.s.t. Inc. Paint Co. in Marcy until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of American Legion Post #229 Ladies Aux. Philomena is survived by her husband, Harold, three daughters and two sons-in-law; RobertaAnn and Stephen T. Summers, Virginia Beach, VA, Pamela A. Agnew, Utica, and Alecia and Dominick Dosch, Canby, OR, four stepsons; Scot Foley, Utica, Greg Foley and wife Candace, Clark Mills, Kirk Foley and wife Donna, Rochester, NY, and Alan Foley, Long Beach, CA, and a brother; Walter B. Howard, Tewksbury, MA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a great great grandson. Mrs. Foley's funeral will be held on Monday evening July 7, 2008 at 8:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 5-8. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
