Mary L. Lonczak, 76, of the St. Luke's Home and formerly of Cherry St., Utica passed away Saturday March 3, 2007 at the home. Mary was born in Oriskany, NY on June 1, 1930 a daughter of the late Joseph and Esther (D'Agnilli) Carnevale. In Oriskany on October 1, 1949 Mary married Edward J. Lonczak a blessed union of 37 years until his passing away in 1986. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Utica. Mary is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Edward Lonczak, UPD, Ret., Utica, Gary and Peggy Lonczak, Marcy, and Greg Lonczak, Utica, special friends, Sharon and Wayne Jennings, Utica, Yvonne Schneider, Utica and Yolanda Jones, Utica. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a brother, Fred Carnevale and a sister, Yolanda Carnevale. Mrs. Lonczak's funeral will be on Monday March 5, 2007 at 1:30 at Sacred Heart Church, Utica. A private burial will take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Whitestown. There are no calling hours. The family will be receiving friends at the conclusion of the funeral mass. Those so wishing may make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Mary's memory.
