Marion Lane Harrington Clinton Marion (Selbach) Lane Harrington, 88, of Clinton, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007 at her home with her family by her side. Marion was born in Utica on June 11, 1919, the daughter of Fred and Isabelle (Murray) Selbach. She was raised and educated in Utica, graduating from UFA and going on to attend Utica School of Commerce. In 1942, Marion married Robert M. Lane. Mr. Lane passed away in 1960. In 1968, Marion married Anthony Harrington. Mr. Harrington passed away in 1977. Marion is a retired employee of General Electric in Utica. She was an active member of the Senior Citizens Group in Clark Mills and a member of Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills. Marion is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane R. Lane, Clinton, Linda and Les Dalmata, Poland, Suzanne and Jeffrey Robinson, Sauquoit; five sons and four daughters-in-law, David and Barbara Lane, Clark Mills, Jack and Mary Lane, Clinton, Steven Lane, Liverpool, Michael and Kim Lane, Florida, Thomas and Kim Lane, Clinton; a special "adopted daughter", Marilyn Dowd, Clinton and daughter-in-law Debbie Lane, Mundsville. She is predeceased by two children, Robert M., Jr. in 1978 and Richard in 1995. Marion is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, as well as by a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Dee Selbach, Fayetteville. She is predeceased by a brother, Raymond "Pete" Selbach. Marion Lane Harrington's funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 10:00 am at Church of the Annunciation, Clark Mills where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton, Monday evening from 5 ? 8 pm. Those wishing may donate to COCVAC or to Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. in Marion's memory. The family would like to thank the Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. and Dr. Thomas John and Lynn for the care, compassion and kindness shown to Marion and her family during her illness.
