Dear Pat, I was so sorry that I was unable to call on you and yours. My Mother took a turn for the worst last Monday and I was unable to get away. Take good care of yourself during this sad time. I will always remember your mother as a very proper lady. Still remember when George and I met your parents and Bob's parents for a fish dinner. It was a good time amd a pleasant memory. Just think, I am the only survior of that dinner. Love, Carolyn

Mary Miller was my wife Mary's Aunt, but I will always remember her as my Aunt, too. It has been many years since I last saw her, but I remember her vividly. She was truly a "take charge" person and the Matriarch of the family. The first time I met Aunt Mary was at a Flint-Miller-Holland family gathering on Watson Place in Utica when I was still dating my wife-to-be Mary Flint. I was a stranger to most everyone there, but Aunt Mary took an interest in me and made me feel comfortable. She always had a friendly welcome for me wherever we met. I will miss her deeply.

I only knew her when I was very young, but I knew my mom loved her, and therefore I did. She still passes on Aunt Mary's qualities to all of our family. Aunt Mary's grace and kindness will always be remembered and passed down to future generations of our family.

I got to know Mrs. Miller when she resided in LifeCare with my Mom. She was so kind to her and I will always remember her for that. I am thinking of you Pat and Bob. Daphne
