Mrs. June Catherine Mazurowski, 85 a resident of the St. Luke's Home, formerly of Utica passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2007 at the Nursing home. June was born December 18, 1921 in Utica the daughter of Rocco and Christina (Stevener) Palmer. She was raised in Utica and was a graduate of Proctor High School. At one time, June was married to William Maynard. She is currently married to Louis Mazurowski. June was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, New Hartford. She was a great singer, cook and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Mrs. Mazurowski is survived by her husband Louis, New Hartford; one daughter, Gloria Brown, Clark Mills; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gordon and Jean Maynard, Warren, RI, William R. Maynard Sr., New Berlin, NY and Gary and Bonnie Maynard New Berlin, NY; one sister, Gloria Cifonelli, Utica; two step-daughters, Julie Crandall, Utica and Joanne Gortin and her husband Terry, FL; sister-in-law, Betty Palmer, Utica; 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, LuAnn Maynard; grandson, Gordon Maynard, Jr., sister, Grace Luckina and two brothers, Williams Palmer Sr. and Joseph Palmer Sr. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday May 29, 2007 at 12:00 noon at Zion Lutheran Church, 630 French Rd., New Hartford. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers and in your generosity remembrances may be made to June's family.
