Leontine (Teena) M. Cerino, 48, of Yorkville passed away Saturday July 7, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital. Leontine was born in Utica on April 9, 1959 a daughter of Lillian (Gadziala) Soja and the late Lee Soja. She was a 1978 graduate of Notre Dame High School. In Utica on January 4, 1982 Leontine married John J. Cerino. She was currently employed with the Oneida County Sheriffs Department. Leontine was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Utica. Teena is survived by her husband; John, her mother; Lillian Soja, Yorkville, two daughters; Elisa C. Cerino, and Jacqueline M. Cerino, both of Yorkville, three sisters and brothers-in-law; Leeana and Rychard Grant, GA, Marie Achen and David Wlock, Yorkville, and Mary Lee and Bill Williams, NH, a brother and sister-in-law; Lee and Lisa Soja, New York Mills, nieces and nephews; Rachelle Grant, Rychard Grant, Tomasine Achen, Shane Williams, Blake Williams, Christian Soja, and Cameron Soja, two great nieces; Olivia Achen and Angel Grant, several great aunts, uncles and cousins and her canine companion; Sonny. Leontine was predeceased by her father Lee in 1970, her maternal grandparents; Albert and Catherine Gadziala and her in-laws; John and Wanda Cerino. Mrs. Cerino's funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 9:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 10:00 Sacred Heart Church, Utica. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus & Casimer Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday (Today) from 4-8.
