Mrs. Jean Gates Waldron, 43 of Utica passed away on Friday January 25, 2008. Jean was born in Rochester, NY on June 30, 1964 the daughter of Gerald Francis and Michele (Daly) Gates. She was a graduate of Herkimer high school class of 1982 and in 1985 earned her RN degree form St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. At one time she was employed as a RN and enjoyed needle point and crocheting. Jean was of the Catholic faith. Jean is survived by her children, Hannah Michele, Thomas John and Zachary Michael; step-daughter, Nicoletta; her mother, Michele Gates, of Deerfield; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Karen and Scott Lansing, of Marcy and Elizabeth Kennedy and Robert Stolo, of Ilion; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Timothy and Maggie Gates, of CO, Thomas Gates of Deerfield and Harry Gates; nieces and nephews, Scott, Michaela, Samantha, Raymond, Lindsey and Matthew and several aunts, uncles and cousins and her husband Michael. She was predeceased by her father, Gerald. Jean's funeral will be held on Thursday January 31, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and 11:00 at St. Peter's Church where her mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro.
