Janice M. Yeoman Good, 66 of Utica passed away Friday June 27, 2008 at the Katherine Luther Home, Clinton. Janice was born in New Hartford on February 21, 1942 a daughter of Harry and Lillian (Meyers) Yeoman. She was raised and educated locally and was a graduate of Utica College. For over 30 years Janice was a teacher in the Holland Patent School System. After her retirement from teaching she was employed with the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Utica, and the Altar Guild of the church, a member of the NYS Retired Teachers Association, a volunteer at the Grace Church Thrift Store and was an avid Yankees fan. Janice was a very generous and caring person who loved to knit. She adored her grandchildren and it gave her great pleasure to knit beautiful items for them. Janice is survived by her two children; Rebecca Hullar and husband Christopher of Chadwicks, Christopher Good and wife Jennifer of North Potomac, MD and their father; Lawrence Good, Utica, four adored grandchildren; Emma and Bethany Hullar, Chadwicks, Sophia and Joshua Good, MD, two very dear and helpful friends; Sandy and Mary and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Janice was predeceased by a brother Lawrence Yeoman in April 2008. A funeral service for Janice will be held on Tuesday July 1, 2008 at 10:00 at Grace Episcopal Church, Utica. Burial will be in the Holland Patent Cemetery. Calling hours at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica will be held on Monday from 4-7. Those so wishing may make donations to the Association for The Blind and Visually Impaired. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr.'s Carrillo and Anderson and the staffs of St. Luke's Hospital and the Katherine Lutheran Home for all their loving care and compassion.
