Dear Kristy and family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Through the years, you have shared many wonderful stories about your father - he was obviously a loving and caring man who will be greatly missed. We hope these special memories will help you all through this time. Most sincere condolences, The Sandoval Family

We are in New York City and are unable to attend Harold's service. Harold was a fine man, a thoughtful and caring friend, and had an elegant manner that I will not easily find again. F. E. Romano, DU Hamilton'49

We send our love to you from Sweden remembering Dr. Heintz and his unique devotion to his family and his very warm personality. I feel very privileged to have had a chance to meet him. For me personally, it has been so very special to follow the Heintz family through my friendships with Matsie and Kristy with families. Their loyalty and love is unique. I am very grateful and touched by that family spirit. We will light a candle tonight in Sweden in the memory of your beloved father, grandfather and husband.

Matsie and family, I'll always remember cheering at hockey games with your dad when Andy and my brother Michael played. Your dad was so friendly and genuinely glad to see you. May your fond memories of your dad help you in the days ahead.

I am sorry to miss the service; however, as terrible a loss as it is to family and friends, think of the positive affect that Harold had on so many. I know that I am a better person for having known and associated with Harold, and I thank both he and his family for having had that privilege.

Please pass on my respects to the Heintz family, especially Andy, who I have not seen in decades, and Harry. Your family is one of the Clinton families I will always remember. Not just because of the roaring parties that my parent's attended, or the few that I attended? But because their was always laughter and happiness in your home. I spent many happy days cruising the Heintz property. I remember when there were just a few homes in the neighborhood and you could see all three Heintz houses across the fields from one and other. Later I remember the renovation of the Westport property and the occasional chance encounters on the Westport Country Club golf course. I am sorry I am not able to come down and pay my respects in person but I do hope that I have a chance to cross paths with some of you in the future. Take care, Perry Babcock Third child of Pam and Dana Babcock (Hamilton College classmate of Harold), formerly of Clinton NY.

Our sister, Flora Tanney worked with Dr. Heintz for many years and always considered him a close friend. We were also privileged to know him personally and will always remember him. Even though he had only recently been seriously ill, he attended our sisters calling hours when she passed on three years ago. He is truly an angel in Our Lord's Heaven now.

Although we only met Dr. Heintz once which was at the wedding of Kristi to my brother Ken, we will never forget how he made us feel so welcome in his town. We know he will be missed by all.
