Gordon B. Dunham, Sr. Yorkville Gordon B. Dunham, Sr., 90, of Yorkville, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. Gordon was born in Utica on December 18, 1916, the son of Grover and Reva Lunt Dunham. He was raised and educated locally. In August of 1947, Gordon married Wanda Baister. Mrs. Dunham passed away in 1990. He was employed by Chicago Pneumatic in Frankfort. Gordon enjoyed golfing. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Yorkville, and a member of the Sharpshooters Club in Yorkville. Gordon is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Gordyne Scardina, Florida, Sharon and Richard Adams, Ilion; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Mary Dunham, North Utica, Gordon, Jr. and Arlene Dunham, Oriskany, Kenneth Dunham, Yorkville; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Eleanor and Ralph Nadeau, New Hartford, Audrey Durr, Oswego; twelve beloved grandchildren and four cherished great grandchildren. Also surviving is his close friend and golf partner, Bruno Petruccione, Yorkville, as well as by several nieces and nephews. Gordon is predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Dunham, by a sister, Helene Hamilton, and by a son-in-law, Ronald Scardina. Gordon's funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Carr Cemetery, Marcy. Those wishing may donate to the American Cancer Society in Gordon's memory. Arrangements are entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Gordon's family would like to thank several doctors, including Dr. Kachare, for his compassionate care during his last days; Dr. John Crawford, for easing his pain; and Dr. Tom Ryan, for giving him hope.
