Francis M. Rozpad, 63, of Deerfield passed away Monday September 17, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital. Francis was born in Utica on December 13, 1943 the son of John and Mary (Kupiec) Rozpad. At the First Assembly of God Church on June 7, 1969 Francis married Joyce (Diane) Hoffman. On March 21, 1969 Francis was appointed to the Utica Fire Department and served his city proudly until his retirement in 1989. Francis was also employed by Davoli Trucking and Bartnick's Garage & Truck Stop. He was a member St. Joseph's ? St. Patrick's Church. Francis is survived by his wife; Diane, and his son; Harold F. Rozpad, Deerfield, Mr. Rozpad's funeral will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 8:45 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica and at 9:30 from St. Joseph's ? St. Patrick's Church, Utica. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus & Casimer Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. Those so wishing may make donations to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Francis' memory.
