Felicia Keida, 89 of North Utica passed away Friday June 1, 2007 at the St. Luke's Home. Felicia was born in Pittsfield, MA on September 23, 1917 a daughter of Walter and Sophie (Slosek) Loboda. At St. Mary's Church, New York Mills on July 11, 1942 she married Frank Keida, a blessed union of 54 years until his passing on April 8, 1996. For 25 years Felicia was employed with the General Electric Co. She was a member of St. Mark's Church, North Utica. Felicia was a quiet, modest, and generous woman who placed the needs of her family first. For the past 11 years, Felicia resided with and was taken care of by her daughter, Phyllis Mattson, and granddaughter, Mary Leigh Mattson, she is also survived by a brother and sister- in-law, Walter and Shirley Loboda, of Vernon Center and a sister- in-law, Irene Keida, Sauquoit. A memorial service celebrating Felicia's life will be held on Saturday, June 9, at 11a m at the Holy Trinity Cemetery Chapel on Champlin Ave., Yorkville. Family and friends will be received after the service. By Felicia's request, please omit floral offerings. For those wishing to do so, please consider memorial donations to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society.
