Mr. Frank L. Rybak, 57 of Utica passed away on Sunday July 16, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Frank was born in Schenectady, NY on September 9, 1948 the son of Louis and Doris (Heckler) Rybak and received his education at Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School. Frank began his career as a New York State licensed property, casualty, accident, life and health agent. He eventually became branch manager for Bankers Life of New York in their Albany and Newburgh Offices. He was honored as the leading life agent in the division. Frank then transitioned into an independent agent representing many companies throughout New York State within the life, health and disability field. He had been an associate of W.B. Payne Co. Inc. for many years before becoming a key employee and co-founder of Payne-Rybak Benefit Corporation, Inc. His years of dedication and service to his accounts and fellow-coworkers set an example for everyone. Perhaps his greatest work came as the Membership Representative for the Empire State Restaurant and Tavern Association. He served as counsel and advisor to hundreds of small business owners throughout New York State and his tireless efforts for the benefit of the members was a huge source of pride for both he and those that he worked so diligently for. Frank enjoyed cooking, his boat, the Yankees baseball team, his work and most importantly people and helping anyone in need. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica. Mr. Rybak is survived by mother, Doris Rybak, Burnt Hills, NY; one sister and brother-in-law, Denise (Fuller) Trombley and her husband Dennis, Amsterdam, NY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, His twin brother Harold Rybak and his wife Jacquelyn, Lancaster, NY and John Rybak and his wife Maxine, NC; uncle, Steve Rybak, MA Aunts, Elsie Bates, FL, Betty Britcher, FL, Margie Yando, TX and Ellen Rupolo, FL; nieces and nephews, Michael Fuller, Clifton Park, NY, Jacob Rybak, Lancaster, NY, Cassandra Rybak, Lancaster, NY and Allison Rybak, NC and friends, Gail and Koryn Zegarelli, Bob Street, Tom and Cindy Bonacci, Bill Goetz, Mark Kleiner, Henry Fuksman, the Payne Family, and hundreds of fellow co-workers, business associated, friends, and members of the Empire State Restaurant and Tavern Association whose hearts he touched each and every day. He was predeceased by his father Louis Rybak. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 27, 2006 at 12:00 noon and Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Genesee St., Utica. A reception will follow at The Finger Bullet, 1692 Bennett St. Utica, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a mass offering with acknowledgments to Mrs. Denise Trombley 9 Ramsey Ave Amsterdam, NY 12010 or a donation to the American heart Association in Frank's memory.
