Donald J. Raymond Sr., 68, of Westmoreland passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday May 31, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital. Donald was born in Mohawk, NY on August 17, 1937 a son of Walter J. and Mildred M. (Rooney) Raymond. In 1957 in New Mexico Donald married Concepcion Ramirez. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955-1961. For many years until his retirement in 2002 Donald was employed with U.S. Air. Donald is survived by his wife, Concepcion, a son, Donald Raymond, Jr., Westmoreland, two granddaughters, Danielle and Erika, a sister, Joan Varin, Utica, a brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Helen Raymond, New Hartford and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Raymond's funeral will be held on Monday June 5, 2006 at 9:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 10:00 from Sacred Heart Church, Utica. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 4-7.
