Carolyn L. Marsh, 84, of New Hartford passed away Tuesday May 30, 2006 at the Presbyterian Home. Carolyn was born in Rome, NY on June 8, 1921 a daughter of Frank and Lillian (O'Connor) Marsh. For many years until her retirement Carolyn was employed with the General Electric Co. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica, the Bowling Association of Utica and was inducted into the Utica Women's 600 Bowling Hall of Fame in 2006. Carolyn was a volunteer at Hope House and St. Luke's Hospital. Carolyn is survived by her cousins, Patty and Jim Neary, Deerfield, Rose Sears, Utica, Joan Warren, PA and Betty Devins, NC, devoted neighbors, Clarice and Chuck Lee and Sue Dunn and many other dear relatives and friends. Carolyn's funeral will be held on Saturday June 3, 2006 at 10:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica and at 11:00 from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4-7. Those so wishing may make donations to Hope House or Stevens ? Swan Humane Society. The family would like to extend a heart felt thanks to Dr. Joseph Booth, Dr Scott Brehaut and the staff of the Presbyterian Home from the excellent care they gave to Carolyn.
