Jane Carroll Snyder, 65, of Cold Brook passed away Monday December 25, 2006 in St. Luke's Hospital. Jane was born in Utica on December 18, 1941 a daughter of James and Madeline (Kieffer) Pflanz. For several years Jane was employed in the home health care profession and prior to this she was employed with the General Electric Co. She was of the catholic faith. Jane loved dogs and showed them for many years. Jane is survived by her children, Robert Snyder, Tupper Lake, NY, Mary Ann Tyler and husband Robert, Tupper Lake, NY and Alfons Pohopek, Hinckley, NY, two grandchildren, Morgan Cahill and Michael Cahill, Tupper Lake, a sister, Suzanne Schroeder, Bay Village, OH, a brother, James Pflanz, North Ridge, OH and a niece, Mallory Schroeder, OH. Mrs. Snyder's funeral service will be held on Friday December 29, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Burial will be in the White Lake Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 5-8. Those so wishing may make donations to the Humane Society in Jane's memory.
