Nancy E. Houck, 88, of Utica passed away Tuesday October 3, 2006 in the Eden Park Nursing Home. Nancy was born in Utica on January 7, 1918 a daughter of Donato and Mary (Albano) Corleto. In Utica on September 4, 1937 Nancy married C. Francis Houck a blessed union until his passing in 1977. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Utica the Altar Society of the Church and the Legion of Mary. Nancy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Richard Satterlee, Remsen, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles F. Houck, Jr., Rome, William D. and Sonia Houck, Woodbridge, VA, and James R. and Carol Houck, Sr., Whitesboro, three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Vincent and Louise Corleto, New Hartford, Rocco Corleto, Utica, and Daniel and Marie Corleto, Utica. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Viola Corleto, a sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Edward Moda and in-laws, Claire Corleto, Edmund and Helen Houck and Harry Houck. Mrs. Houck's funeral will be held on Friday October 6, 2006 at 12:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 1:00 from Sacred Heart Church, Utica. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday (Today) from 4-7. Those so wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Nancy's memory.
