Helen G. Fredette Utica Helen Grzesiak Fredette, 87, a resident of Eden Park Nursing Home, formerly of Utica, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2006 at the nursing home. Helen was born on October 26, 1918 in Deerfield, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Swider) Grzesiak. She was raised and educated locally. Helen retired after many years of employment as the Union Representative for the International League of Garment Workers Union in Vermont. She was a member of St. Joseph ? St. Patrick's Church, Utica. Helen is survived by a son, Ronald Clemons, Utica; a brother and, Stanley (Sophie) Gresack, Holland Patent, sisters-in-law, Helen Greciak, Utica, and Florence Gresiak, VT; a step-brother, Benny Ulinski, Manlius, NY; as well as by many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are good friends Mary and Tom Travers and their family in Vermont and the Nackleys of Utica and New York Mills. Helen is predeceased by a sister, Caroline Bienkowski, brothers, Edward, Joseph, John and Frank; step-brothers, Chester, Stanley, and Mitchell Ulinski; a nephew, Joseph Olko, Jr.; a niece, Stephanie Foley; a great-nephew, Raymond LaPage; and a great-niece, Michele Mikalajunase. Helen's funeral will be held on Tuesday, (Today) October 3, 2006 at 10:30 am at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 11:00 am at St. Joseph ? St. Patrick's Church, Utica where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitestown. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the funeral. Those wishing may donate to Eden Park Nursing Home in Helen's memory.
