Frederick J. Dillon, 63, of Utica passed away on Saturday December 2, 2006 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Frederick was born in Utica on August 8, 1943 a son of the late Edward W. and Genevieve M. (Clowminzer) Dillon. He was raised and educated in Utica and graduate of Utica Free Academy. For many years until his retirement Frederick was employed with the City of Utica Water Board. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica and an antique car enthusiast. Frederick is survived by a sister, Kathleen Dillon, Utica, a niece, Rebecca Dillon, Utica, a uncle and aunt, William and Judy Dillon, Rochester, a special cousin, James Colby, Cape Vincent, NY, special friends, Phillip Caruso, William DeJohn, Daniel Hebert, Joseph Kobielski, Richard Panella, Paul Strife and Richard Sullivan, and several cousins. Mr. Dillon's funeral will be held on Wednesday December 6, 2006 at 10:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and at 11:00 from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday from 4-7. Those so wishing may make donations to the American Cancer Society in Fred's memory.
