Patricia A. Mosher, 84, a resident of the Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Patricia was born in Utica on October 3, 1933 a daughter of James and Irene (Dowd) Murphy. At St. John's Church, Utica on June 6, 1959 Patricia was united in marriage to George H. Mosher a blessed union of 52 years until his death in 2011. Patricia was a member of St. Joseph and St. Patrick Church, Utica. Patricia was a very compassionate person who love to sing and dance, and especially spending time at the family camp at Sylvan Beach. Patricia is survived by her three children, Alicia Mosher and Brett Parsons of Boonville and George Mosher and Gregory Mosher and Alice Zayas both of Utica, two brothers, James Murphy of TX and Michael Murphy and wife, Bonnie of NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she adored. Patricia was predeceased by a son, Kevin Mosher in 1965, a brother, Beach Murphy and two sisters-in-law, Jane Murphy and Marilyn Murphy. Calling hours for Mrs. Mosher's will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5-7 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica with a funeral service to be held at 7:00. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Sunset Nursing Home for all the loving care given to Patricia during her stay with them.
