Miss Sadie Ann Wehby, 86, passed away at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare peacefully on December 1, 2018, after a brief illness. Sadie was born in Utica on March 9, 1932, the daughter of Anthony and Morro (George) Wehby. Sadie was employed with Grand Union Stores for 30 years until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of St. Louis Gonzaga Church. Sadie is survived by her sister, Catherine (Lola) Hiffa and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Gloria and Rose and brother, Abe. In keeping with Sadie’s wishes there are no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
