Carmella Jeffalone, 94, of the Katherine Luther Home passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Carmella was born in Frankfort, NY, the youngest of seven children to Frank and Angeline Jeffalone. Carmella served as an Army nurse for over 20 years. She was later employed at the Utica State Hospital until her retirement. She was of the Protestant Faith. Carmella is survived by a special niece, Dawn Andrews and husband, Patrick, of Frankfort and several other nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of the Lutheran Home for all the loving care given to Carmella for the past 10 years. In keeping with Carmella's wishes there are no services.
