Margaret B. DeBlois, 89, of the Iroquois Nursing Home, Jamesville, NY and formerly of Marcy, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the nursing home. Margaret was born in Glasgow, Scotland on September 26, 1928, a daughter of James and Belle Harrold. In Utica in 1962, Margaret married Peter J. DeBlois, a blessed union of 51 years until his death in 2013. For many years Margaret worked as a seamstress in the Utica area. In her later years she was a member of the Deerfield Seniors, where she enjoyed playing Bingo and cards. Margaret is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
