Thomas J. Craig, 98, of Rome was reunited with his wife on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Rome memorial Hospital. Thomas was born in Utica on July 15, 1919 son of Lester J. and Lena (Noe) Craig. He was raised and educated in Utica and graduated with a Bachelors Degree. Thomas was united in marriage to Betty Snyder on December 27, 1940 a blessed union of 67 years until her death in 2007. Thomas served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. For many years he was employed with the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. Thomas was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Utica, Knights of Columbus Council #189 and its’ 4th Degree and American Legion Post in Chadwicks, NY. Thomas is survived by a daughter, Carol Parzianello and husband, Luciano of Rome, two sons, W. Gary Craig and wife, Jean of Liverpool, NY and John Craig and wife, Margaret of Libby , MT, he is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Thomas was predeceased by a sister, Agnes Craig and a brother, Joseph Craig. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Those so wishing may make donations to Hospice and Palliative Care Inc. or a charity of your choosing in Thomas’ memory.
