Mr. Paul A. Wusik, 67, a resident of the St. Luke’s Home in New Hartford, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford. Paul was born in Utica on December 18, 1950 the son of Fritz and Anastazija (Oliwa) Wusik and received his education at Utica Free Academy. At one time, Paul was employed with Cambridge Filters in Syracuse, later with WUTR and most recently with St. Luke’s Hospital in New Hartford. Paul was an avid hunter. Mr. Wusik is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jennifer McKenzie of Tampa, FL, Melissa and Andrae Jackson of Statesboro, GA and Rebecca and Ralph Vincent of Cicero, NY; his mother, Anastazija Wusik of New Hartford; five cherished grandchildren, Jamina, Shannee, Andrae, Jr., Xavier and Joanna; two adored great granddaughters, Amiyah and Kahara; two sisters and one brothers-in-law, Mary and William Hager of WV and Suzanne Popejoy of VA; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda Wusik of Utica and a brother-in-law, Joseph DeFazio, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Fritz Wusik and sister, Irene DeFazio. Mr. Wusik’s funeral and burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours.
