Bridget L. Learnard, 38, of N. Utica, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Utica Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her loving family by her side. Bridget was born in Utica on December 18, 1979, the daughter of Clifford Learnard and Patricia (Bessette) Learnard and received her education in the Whitesboro school district. For 13 years, she was employed with Carrol’s Corp. in N. Utica, where she always greeted her customers with a welcoming smile. Bridget’s life was centered around her three beloved children. Birthdays and holidays were always a special time for her children because of the love she had for them. Bridget will be remembered as a generous and kind-hearted person who opened her heart and home to all the neighborhood children. she enjoyed cooking, found peace, working in her garden and was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in N. Utica. Bridget is survived by her three beloved children, Alexandra Rose Learnard, Martin Patrick Learnard and Christian Paul Learnard all of Utica; her mother, Patricia Learnard of Deerfield; her father, Clifford Learnard and his wife Rowena of Utica; her fiancée, William True of Utica; one brother, Daniel Patrick Learnard of Rome; half-brother, Clifford Busby of Rome; Special friends, Ronald Morgan and Martin Garcia as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Bridget’s funeral will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 8:15 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and 9:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Her Rite of Committal and burial will be in West Schuyler Cemetery.
