Mrs. Jessica A. Manoiero, 66, of Utica, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. Jessica was born in Utica, on February 4, 1952, the daughter of Michael and Helen (Mitchell) Doat. She was raised and educated in Whitesboro and Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. On June 2, 1973, Jessica was united in marriage to Francesco Manoiero at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church in Utica. Jessica was a loving and devoted, wife, mother and grandmother whose life centered around her family and especially her beloved grandchildren who were the light of her life. Mrs. Manoiero is survived by her loving husband, Francesco; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and John Misiaszek of Oriskany Falls; one son, Francesco Manoiero and his fiancée Vikki Spinella of Marcy; seven cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Agazio, Julie, Joey, Brittany, Jenna and John IV; one sister, Suzanne Pisano of Holland Patent as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Helen. Mrs. Manoiero’s funeral will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 12:00 noon at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel-Blessed Sacrament Parish where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Her burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours for family and friends are Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St. Utica.
