Mrs. Geraldine Verrilli Lytle, 96, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Whitesboro, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford with her loving family by her side. Geraldine was born November 5, 1921 in Livermore, Maine the daughter of Fredric and Lucille (Twombley) Goding and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School. In 1945, Geraldine was united in Marriage to John Verrilli, a devoted union of 41 years until his death in 1986. She later married Gale Lytle, Sr. Mr. Lytle died in 1995. At one time, Geraldine was employed with the Alexander Hamilton Inn in Clinton and later with the Office of The Aging as a manager at Lillian Cooper Apartments. She will be remembered as a great cook and a staunch Republican, who enjoyed reading, ceramics, antiquing, shopping and going to garage sales. She was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Lytle is survived by two daughters, Lucretia Humphrey of Clinton and Candace Rintrona and Jeff Haas of Myrtle Beach, SC; 11 grandchildren, Kimberlee and Dennis Maxwell, Tara and Steve Roberts, Shanna and Rich Adams, Marisa Rintrona and Fred Heintz, and Richard and Kristy Rintrona who were all very dear to her heart; as well as Karen and Fred Montgomery, Sandra and Robert Stahle, Kandace Humphrey, Nicole Duffy, Trista and Philip Testa and Jessica Duffy; 20 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her girlfriend, Carol Geary. She was predeceased by a daughter and two sons in Law, Joan and James Duffy and Richard Humphrey; three sisters, June Goding, Vera Evans and Fern McLaughlin and two brothers, Fred Goding, Jr. and Eugene Goding. Mrs. Lytle's memorial service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Her burial, in Crown Hill Memorial Park in Kirkland will be held at the convenience of her family.
