Ronald Louis Krecidlo, 75, of Marcy, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at home. Ronald was born in Utica on December 9, 1942, a son of the late Andrew and Amelia (Warchowski) Krecidlo. He proudly served in the Army from 1964-1966. At St. Francis de Sales Church, Utica, on October 9, 1976, Ronald was united in marriage to Mary Louise Quinlan. For many years he was employed with the Utica Cutlery Co. and later until his retirement, Kelsey Hayes. He was a member of St. Paul’s Church, Whitesboro, the American Legion and the VFW. Ronald enjoyed target shooting. Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Louise, a son, Christopher Krecidlo and wife, Marta, Marcy, two grandchildren, Kayden and Alex, a great grandson, Julian Michael, a special nephew, Richard Krecidlo and wife, Barbara, Remsen, nephews, Michael Krecidlo, FL, Robert Krecidlo, Utica and Steven Krecidlo, Whitesboro and a niece, Patricia Hines and Philip Cassidy, Remsen. Ronald was predeceased by his daughter, Lori Ann Krecidlo in 1999 and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Frances Krecidlo and Richard and Mary Krecidlo. Mr. Krecidlo’s funeral will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018, at 1:00, from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Burial with Military Honors will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday morning, from 11-1. Those so wishing may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, in Ronald’s memory.
