Carol A. (Fuller) Yearby, 67, of Utica, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the St. Luke’s Home in New Hartford with her loving family by her side. Carol was born in Rome, NY on March 7, 1950, the daughter of Robert and Ella (VanDresar) Fuller and was a graduate of Proctor High School. For many years, Carol was employed as a Certified Nurse’s Aide with the Lutheran Home in Clinton. Ms. Yearby is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joe, Jr. and Jennifer Hotaling of New Hartford and Daniel Hotaling of Utica; four cherished grandchildren, Morgan Hotaling, Sean Hotaling, Riha Kimball and Zachery Kimball; an adored great granddaughter, LayLeonna; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nancy Witchley of Frankfort, Bonnie and Britt Yearby of Utica and Marlene and Richard Ruskey of Deerfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Frances Fuller of Utica; an aunt and uncle, Sharon and Richard Poppleton of Verona as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ella. Ms. Yearby’s funeral will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Her interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours for family and friends are Monday from 4:00-7:00 prior to the service.
