Mrs. Doreen Ann Rinaldi, 70, of Yorkville, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Abraham House with her loving family by her side. Doreen was born in New Hartford on February 21, 1947 the daughter of Stanley and Jane (Soja) Brych and was a graduate of NY Mills High School. On January 19, 1974, Doreen was united in marriage to Crescenzio (Chris) A. Rinaldi, a loving union of 28 years until Chris’ death in 2002. For many years, Doreen was employed with the US Postal Service retiring in 2002. She enjoyed sewing, baking, camping and her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved grandchildren who were the light of her life. Doreen was a parishioner of St. Mark’s Church in N. Utica. Mrs. Rinaldi is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Michele Reid of Marcy and Sherry and Patrick DeHart of Westernville; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Valerie Rinaldi of Utica; 7 cherished grandchildren, Cayley, Chris, Connor, Correy, Cristin, Aaron and Ryan; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Lorraine Brych and Robert Cummings of Sylvan Beach and Geraldine and Robert Kinville of NY Mills as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rinaldi’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s Church where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Her Rite of Committal and burial will be in West Schuyler Cemetery. Calling hours for family and friends are Tuesday morning from 9:00-11:00 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica.
