Gladys M. Renwick, 90, of the Presbyterian Home passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the home. Gladys was born in Yorkville on June 17, 1927, a daughter of Ambrose and Bertha (Jerome) Domser. She attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and later Whitesboro High School. Gladys was united in marriage to John H. Renwick at St. Paul's Church, Whitesboro on November 27, 1946, a blessed union of 59 years until his death in 2005. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of the Red Hat Club, Bell Choir and Bowling League of the Presbyterian Home. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth LaSalle and husband, John, of Rome, and a daughter-in-law, Susan Renwick, MO. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. Gladys was predeceased by a son, John Renwick in 2001 and two brothers, James and Robert Domser. Mrs. Renwick's funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 12:00 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Callings hours at the funeral home are Wednesday morning from 10 - 12. Those so wishing may make donations in Gladys' memory to the Presbyterian Home Foundation.
