On Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford, her family said goodbye to their beloved Amanda. Amanda was born in Utica on November 21, 1981 a bundle of Joy to her mother Kathy. Amanda was extremely kind and loving and will be remembered for her huge heart, always ready to help anyone who needed it. She was very compassionate with dogs and left her canine companions, Dudley and Jade. Amanda was of the Catholic Faith. Amanda is lovingly survived by her mother and step-father, Kathy and Ciro Festa of NY Mills; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Nicki Greene of Ilion; her pride and joy, nephew, Nicholas Greene and niece, Audrianna Greene; sister, Tammy Greene and her two children of Utica; her fiancé, Jack Grippe as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins to numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her husband, Tim Algustowski on December 8, 2007. Amanda's funeral will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St. Utica. Her burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours for family and friends are Sunday from 1:00-4:00 prior to the service.
