Johan was my mother-in-laws neighbor across the hall at the Meadows. We were very surprised to see she had passed because she was such an energetic lady from driving to swimming several days a week, all of the volunteering she did, time driving to Rochester to visit relatives, time spent with her relatives at her home. She somehow found time to assist my mother-in-law who was struggling to maintain her new home and was kind to point out to us that she was worried about her. She used to leave her door open for my her and they visited back and forth. Johan certainly made her transition easier knowing she had a new friend. Last time I saw Johan she invited me in to see her scrapbook from her surprise birthday celebration that she was so proud of and which made her so happy with the limo ride and activities. God bless her soul and watchover her as I am sure she will be watching over the rest of us.
