Mrs. Carolyn (Caroline Yaeck) Stepanick, lovingly known as Skip, has peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father. Carolyn was born in Walkerton, Ontario Canada on December 23, 1927, the daughter of Andrew and Laura (O’Bright) Yaeck. On September 5, 1949, Carolyn married her lifelong love Norbert J. Stepanick and together have shared all life’s adventures. Mrs. Stepanick was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Laura and her siblings, Dorothy, Grace, Lenore, Madeline, Irene, Mary, Robert, James, Hubert and Anita. Having rejoiced in the lives of her family, Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Norbert; daughters, Rutheen and Robert Hoyt, Linda and Roger Clarke and Karen Stepanick and Pat Davis; grandchildren, Rachael and Mario, Renee and Don, Heather, Dennis, Betsy, Georgia and Manny; great grandchildren, Kaila, Kevin, Cassandra and Joshua, Chelsea, Alyson, Bobbie, Faith and Jordan; great great grandchild, Braxton, along with several nieces and nephews who brought her much joy. She leaves this world surrounded by their love and admiration. Mrs. Stepanick’s funeral will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Her entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum in Yorkville.
