Saratoga Springs / Utica – Frank Q. Pentasuglia, 65, of Saratoga Springs, formerly of Utica, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital. Frank was born April 2, 1952 in Utica, the son of Frank and Joan (Borek) Pentasuglia. He was raised and educated locally and was employed with the Martin Luther Home in Clinton and later with Faxton Hospital in Utica. Frank was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid NY Yankee fan, and had a love for horse racing, which lead to his moving to Saratoga Springs. Frank is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Katrina Pentasuglia, Utica; a daughter, Lisa Pentasuglia, Rome; grandchildren, Alexis Coleman, Bubba Coleman, and Christian Michael Pentasuglia; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Mary Rose Azzarito, New Hartford. He is predeceased by a brother, Gerald. Mr. Pentasuglia’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony and St. Agnes Church in Utica where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Those wishing may donate to the American Heart Association in Frank’s memory.
