Mr. James E. Miller, 62, of N. Utica, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. James was born in Herkimer, NY on April 15, 1955 the son of Robert C. and Kathleen (Kenna) Miller and received his education in Herkimer and Frankfort Schuyler Schools. On September 11, 1982, James married Laura Robson at St. Mary's Church in NY Mills. At one time, James was employed as a manager with Fays Drug Store and Wheels Automotive Store. He was an avid collector of military miniatures and was a parishioner of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica. Mr. Miller is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Laura; one daughter, Rebecca Miller of Clinton; one son, Joseph Miller of N. Utica; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Diane Miller of New Hartford and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Margaret Robson of Yorkville; He was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Miller. Mr. Miller's funeral will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and 10:00 at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church where his Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. His Rite of Committal and burial will be in Mohawk Cemetery.
