Central Square – Jeffrey S. Dam, 62, of Central Square, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home. Jeff was born September 19, 1954 in Oneida, NY, the son of Thomas A. and Beverly J. (Dungey) Dam. He was a high school graduate, and had been employed with Lenahan Farms and then Dungey Farms through his early years. He worked for a time with Halliburton Oil Services. Jeff then was employed with Dairylea and Hood before Upstate Milk in Utica. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jeff also loved working on cars. He was of the Methodist faith. Jeff is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jude and Jaime Soine, AZ; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Soine, AZ; three brothers, Thomas Dam, Durhamville, Gary Dam, Bridgeport, Michael and Heather Mimassi, Oriskany; nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Darin, and Melanie Mimassi, Christina Fernandez, Dawn Huth, Wayne and Garrison Dam, Kimberly Pomerleau, a great nieces and great nephew, Alexis and Colin Dam; he is predeceased by a nephew, Lee Dam. Mr. Dam’s funeral service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11 am at the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton. Interment will take place in Stockbridge Valley Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home, Saturday morning, from 9 – 11 am, prior to the service. Those wishing may donate to a charity of your choice in Jeff’s memory.
